The CatalogLift plugin does three things in WordPress and stays out of everything else. It ships as readable PHP source, and the endpoints it exposes are fixed by contract.
It reads the product catalog
Products, variations, categories, brands, attributes, images with their alt text, and the SEO fields your SEO plugin owns. There is no endpoint for orders, customers, coupons, reviews, users, settings or files, so CatalogLift cannot ask for them even by mistake.
It tells CatalogLift when something changed
The plugin keeps a small change log — which product changed, when — so syncs are incremental instead of a full re-read. When your team or an import edits products, the next check picks up exactly those products and the scan runs on fresh data.
It applies only what was decided
Decided changes arrive in small batches over the same signed channel. The plugin checks the current value first, so it never overwrites an edit someone made in the meantime, writes through WooCommerce's own functions, and reports back what actually landed.

The plugin detects which one is active and reads SEO titles, meta descriptions and canonical URLs through that plugin's own product fields, and writes titles and descriptions back the same way.
HPOS and block checkout
Compatibility with custom order tables and cart/checkout blocks is declared — and orders are never read or written anyway.
Variable products
Variations are synced with their parents, so a variation without a price or SKU, or a variable product with no variations at all, is a finding of its own.
Product data only
Titles, descriptions, SKUs, prices, categories, attributes, alt text and SEO fields — written through WooCommerce's functions. Themes, templates and settings are never touched.
Your store's language
Drafts are written in the language you set in the playbook. Facts still come from your catalog, not from the model.
Rollback for 150 days
Every applied change keeps a receipt. Eligible changes can be rolled back from it. The connector checks the live value first, so a rollback never clobbers a newer edit.

Do I need WooCommerce REST API keys or Jetpack?
No. You install the CatalogLift plugin, press Connect in wp-admin and confirm the store in your workspace. The store gets its own token and signing secret, every request in both directions is signed, and no admin password or REST key is ever pasted anywhere.
Does it work with Yoast SEO and Rank Math?
Yes. The plugin detects which of the two is active and reads the SEO title, meta description and canonical URL through that plugin's own product fields and writes titles and descriptions back the same way, so what CatalogLift finds and fixes is exactly what your SEO plugin outputs.
Is it compatible with High-Performance Order Storage and the block checkout?
Yes. The plugin declares compatibility with WooCommerce's custom order tables and cart/checkout blocks. It never reads or writes orders in the first place — only the product catalog.
Will it change my theme, templates or page builder layouts?
No. CatalogLift edits product data — titles, descriptions, SKUs, prices, categories, attributes, image alt text and SEO fields — through the same WooCommerce functions wp-admin uses. It does not touch themes, templates, menus, widgets or settings.
How large a catalog can it handle?
A store on the free plan syncs and scans up to 1,000 products; paid plans carry 10,000 per store. Larger catalogs still connect and still scan — drafting and applying wait for a plan that covers them. Syncing is incremental: after the first full read, the plugin sends only what changed.
Does the AI write to my store by itself?
The model never decides. Scanners find problems by rule, the AI drafts a proposal from your own product data with evidence and a confidence level, and the decision on that before/after diff is made under your workspace's authority — by a person in the panel, or by an AI agent you connected and can disconnect in one click. Only then is the change written to WooCommerce, read back and re-scanned to confirm it landed.
What language will the drafts be in?
Your store's language. You set it in the playbook, and every drafted field has to be written in it.
Can I disconnect, and what happens to my data?
You can disconnect from wp-admin or from CatalogLift; either side revokes the credentials at once and syncing stops. Approved changes stay in your store, and eligible changes can be rolled back from their receipts for 150 days after verification while the store is connected. Availability depends on the previous value and connector support. Your catalog copy on our side is deleted on request.
